On the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s birthday on June 3, 2022, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) organized a mangrove planting event to honor Her Majesty. The event, held on June 4, 2022, aimed to offer royal merit and express profound gratitude and loyalty to the Thai monarchy. The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwit Saetia, President of KMUTT, who led the homage to the monarchy and delivered a blessing for the Queen’s longevity. The event also featured singing of royal anthems and a special tribute song by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nakornin Pattanaboonmi, representative of the TC 3 Group, NBK 8. He reported on the objectives of the event, and Dr. Suwit Saetia officially opened the activity. Participants, including university executives, staff, students, and pupils, jointly planted 4,410 mangrove trees at a new site in Pantai Norasingh sub-district, Mueang district, Samut Sakhon province. The director of the Tien Thale Police Station and the deputy director of the Twee Thapabisek 2 School also joined with their forces and staff in this activity.
