KMUTT want to educate our students and encourage them to learn outside of the classroom by transforming our campuses to be an ideal environment for developing awareness and innovative solutions to problems that will improve the world for current and future generations.

Hazardous waste

According to hazardous waste reduction policy, KMUTT commit to reduce 70% of hazardous waste by the year 2020 compared to 2007 baseline.

KMUTT promote to use solar cell in our campus to serve the clean energy usage policy and to build renewable energy environment for our student and staff as demonstration sites and learning space.

Bicycle Riding Activities

According to Walk & Bike Society Policy, KMUTT promote Bicycle riding activities to serve all bicycle riders in our campus.

Safety In All We Do

KMUTT provide a pilot model and best practice on safety management system and promote to implement the safety management system for all staff students, and communities surrounding.

Green Initiative

 

KMUTT is one of Science and Technology University in Thailand which builds our capability to be a role model on energy and environmental management in Thailand and integrates to all activities including teaching and research. KMUTT has been adopted the goal to be Green University since 2005 which focus on energy, environment ,safety and set up university's Energy Environment and Safety Office to take responsibility for the system development and implementation.

Sustainability is one of the major challenges of current and future generation of students & staff. KMUTT plan to educate our students and encourage them to learn outside classroom and transform its campuses to be an ideal environment for developing awareness and innovative solutions to relevant problems that will improve the world for current and future generations. According to Sustainable Development Goal 2030 (SDG 2030), KMUTT committed to be Green University for SDG 2030 since 2017 which comply national agenda. KMUTT has a responsibility to contribute the global and national sustainability agenda and to promote the development of sustainability leadership on our campus. The university has an additional responsibility to encourage our students to do their part to protect environment and natural systems.
