Water Recycling Program in New Building

Water recycling program generally fall into two categories. Grey water systems recycle water from lavatories and showers, which may include soap and a small amount of organic matter, like hair. Blackwater systems treat water from toilets and kitchen sinks (which may include food waste) and often recycle the treated water for non-potable uses like flushing toilets. Water recycling program in KMUTT focus on Greywater and recycle water from lavatories and shower which include small amount of soap and organic matter. Water Recycling Program is one of KMUTT Water Conservation policy    which support by KMUTT Water Conservation Program. This policy focus on the usage of water recycle program in   new buildings   since 2005. From 2005-2016

KMUTT  has  seven new buildings and has been  implemented  the water recycling program to all seven  new buildings  including  BRI Building which is Green building in Bangkhunthien campus ,FIBO Building , Wisawa Wattana Building ,President Building , Thumaraksa Dormitory 1 , Thumaraksa Dormitory 2  and  Sport Complex Building in Bangkhunthien campus .

Water recycling program in KMUTT help to conserve water usage in our campus more than 60,000 cubic m. /year
