Limitation of Car Usage & Car Pool Promotion
According to KMUTT transportation policy, car and van pooling promotion with limitation of car usage in campus have been implemented. These have been done to ensure a modal shift from private car to sustainable modes of transport (bus, van, bike, walk) and to improve quality of life and health within our campus. KMUTT aims to reduce the environmental nuisance, initiates a sustainable traffic policy based on the management of mobility initiatives designed and master plan improvement to limit the use of car in the campus. For car and van pooling, they help to reduces fuel costs with a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way to go to work , reduces carbon emissions, traffic congestion on the roads, and decreases the need for parking spaces.

: 50 % increasing of KMUTT staff & students used car pool & Van pool for university shuttle van/bus compare to 2010 baseline
: In 2017, 1,550 of cars and motorcycle entering KMUTT daily according to limitation of car parking in our campus.
